Established early in the 1900's, this church was built to provide for the spiritual needs of the citizens who lived in and about the town of Offerman.  Like many of the Primitive Baptist congregations, the men sat on one side of the churchand the women on the other.   Services could last an entire day.  One former member stated when her father passed away the funeral service went on all day.  Services are still held today.
